Course Requirements:

 

       Complete assigned readings before class. This will allow class discussions to review, criticize, and go beyond the readings. Class participation will count 20% in determining grades. There will be two take-home essay exams: a Midterm due in class on October 23 and a Final due on December 18. Each exam will contain essay questions. Answers will be 6-8 pages in length, typed, double-spaced, or equivalent. Each exam is worth 40% of the final grade.
