Information Page for Potential Part-Time Faculty for the

Department of Classics and General Humanities

 


Right now,  Department is considering what  positions it needs to fill  for Spring 2009. The Spring term goes from mid-January 2009 to mid-May 2009  

We may be looking for instructor for Mythology, Roman Civilization, Greek Civilization, Troy and the Trojan War and   Beginning Latin I.  Look below for sample syllabi.

An instructor must have at least an M.A. or its equivalent.
Salary starts at roughly $3,200 dollars per course (in a regular session), with some courses paying somewhat more. Possession of a PhD will also factor in.
