The Fall Meeting of the New Jersey Classical Association was held at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey. For directions, other information about Monmouth University, see  http://www.monmouth.edu/ .

At the Fall meeting James Flanagan presented, "Without Latin there would be no English," and  Beverly Ignatovicz and Greta Margulis gave "An A to Z Guide To  Travel Abroad With Students." There will also be a tour of the Monmouth campus and the Woodrow Wilson Mansion, highlighting various  examples of Classical  architecture.
October 4-7, 2007 Centennial Meeting: October  4 - 7, 2007. This special Centennial Meeting of the Classical Association of the Atlantic States was  held at  Jurys Washington Hotel, located on Dupont Circle in the heart  of Washington, DC. Click here for more information.

The Edna White Scholarship will be offered this coming Year!!

The Edna White Rome Scholarship at the American Academy in Rome is awarded semi-annually to a teacher of Latin or Classics who has taught two consecutive years in a New Jersey school and has been a member of NJCA during that time. the recipient of this scholarship spends  six weeks at the American Academy in Rome. For more information, see www.aarome.org

The flea market desperately needs materials donated to continue raising funds for this scholarship. Why not bring in those things you no longer use and donate them for a very worthy cause? Donations may include: books and/or workbooks  realia , posters and/or maps
