Random Latin Vocabulary Drill, in which you can select the number of words randomly selected out of  20 to be quizzed on. You are retested on wrong answers. All the answers are turned into lower case before being compared to the right answers. Thus it does not matter in what case the answers are entered.

First set the number of words (up to 20) you wish to be tested on. Click on Begin Quiz to get your first Latin word. When you have typed in your answer (following the directions below), click the tab key to check the answer. Then, for  DOS/Windows machines,  click  any other letter key to get next word, or use the Continue button if that does not work. On Macs you can use the tab key both times.  Usually, on Windows machines if you reload the page again you won't have to use the Continue button.

When you type in your translation, define all verbs in the form "I run" and do not use punctuation or extra spaces between words or put any space before or after the definitions. This drill has  20 words in it; select the number below you wish to be quizzed on, then click 'Begin Quiz'. You will be retested once on the words you miss. And when you finish with the retest, you will be told what percentage of answers were right on the first try and a final message geared to that percentage.
