I agree with what Sharon said. Melissa Snell presents her facts in a clear, unbiased manner. She also makes us aware of _all_ the details of the Plague, without skimming over any of the nastier parts that we seem to have been "hidden from" in our high school history classes. I had no idea that Jews were so heavily persecuted during the Plague. Nor did I know that measures such as walling up entire houses (alive and dead) were actually taken to contain the disease rather than simply being the stuff of a frightening tale.
