I really can not believe that this plague was not really taught in history classes. I had heard of it, but never really learned about it. It seems like such a horrible thing and no one really seems to know about it. It does not seem like something that would ever happen again, but people can certainly still feel agony for all the pain and suffering that the people went through. They suffered a great ordeal and it seems to get ignored in the history classes. People back then, must have thought that they were being punished by God. Everyone was being killed and no one was being saved. It must have seemed like everyone was damned no matter what.
