Yes, I definately agree with all that you have to say regarding the outlet by which the novel and the movie are in different forms. I feel that the oversight by which this is achieved is done through the fragementation of facts to a specific reference. As you say that the names of the characters are different in a contextua frame of mind is exactly the reason as to why I understand the basis for the judgement that you make. It brings together the story in a moral and conceptual way. But I feel that the biggest difference between story and movie is the entertainment value by which the movie losses a great deal of what the book has. This blunting of reality is by far the biggest difference for me in understanding the reality of the two truths.
