There were many aspects of these two works that were quite different to each other and also the same. The one scene that I was waiting for was the cofessional scene with Jorge and William. However, the movie didn't display as much detail to me as the book did in my mind. I felt, as I read, strong emotions between the two characters as William explianed his scenario of the murders to Jorge. But the movie wasn't at all what I expected that scene to be. It happened rather fast as William and Adso ran around the labrynth looking for Jorge. Then when they finally found him, Jorge is eating pages from the book and then he burns the whole thing. I just felt that this was a critical part in the book, but the movie didn't, in my opinion, do so.
