I agree with your analysis in regards to how the book is interpreted through the devotion of ideas on its whole spectrum analysis. I believe that this whole idea of medieveal hiearchical thinking can be stated in the exact way which it is seen. The understanding of this thinking or the thinking of the fundamental medievalists is fundamental in understanding and seeing how to understand the relationship between the peasants and the people. I believe that the whole of this relation is why and how these people or the nobility came to power. And the answer to this is quite obvious, they benefit from all the power which is bestowed to them and that is how the thinking revolves and can be looked upon within the grounds of trying to understand the hierarchical frame of mind.
