The KKK and other hate organizations played a major role in our economy. Chapter 8, states that money was being made from those who hated. The immigrants belived that they would be given a fair salary and land, but they were working enormous amount of hours with less compenstion. The U.S Immigration Committee found sufficient evidence of the atrocious events and reported that force labor was active in the South.
