I agree with some of the things you say about the war. But you are not looking at the reasons why we went to the war and think about the people that live in Vietnam. We went there to support the South Vietnamese and help them put a stop to communism. The American soldiers had to kill because they were not only fighting for the South but for their lives. There will always be cover-ups in a war because no side wants to be the enemy. There will always be mistakes made in any war because nobody is perfect, especially the US government.
