You are right. I hate to say it but it is because of people who share your attitudes towards living, that we will all one day just self-destruct. No one cares, and when you think about it why should we? It is an easy way, (and the American way), to live in ignorance. If you can go to the store and be presented with a plentiful array of conveniences, why cant you just take what you need, throw it away, get another. I am not judging you, but I have a feeling when the day rolls around where these are not viable options, you will have a different tune to sing. I hate to sound incredibly cheesy but, we owe it to future generations and to the earth its self to try to keep man kind in tact. We need to think about the consequences of our actions. I know that I never want to live like the Vietnamese peasants struggling for survival, but I see that is inevitable if we don’t start to care.
