Must include: 

     ANTH 110 Multicultural America or equivalent

     ANTH 380 Anthropology of Women

     Elective course at 500 level

Course Work in Related Social Sciences*

 

History (15 s.h.)

     Two courses in U.S. history

     One course in European history

     One course in non-western history

     One elective course at 300 level or above (500 level for M.A.T. candidates)

Economics (3 s.h.)

     ECON 100  Introduction to Economics; ECON 101 Macro-Economics or

     ECON 215    Economics of Social Problems

Geography (6 s.h.)

     Any two courses in local, regional or world Geography

Political Science (6 s.h.)

     One course on comparative or international politics

     One course in American political thought or American political systems

 

*NOTE:  History and Social Science courses completed with grades of C or higher prior to entering this program will be accepted.  The number of credits in each area will be correspondingly reduced; remaining courses will be determined after evaluation of student’s academic record.
