about the organization, its membership, links to Web sites of philosophy departments in
New Jersey and a complete list (with professional profiles) of all full-time faculty
teaching philosophy in N.J. colleges and universities.
2. About This Site: Hopes and dreams for
this site an appeal for your help and cooperation.
3. NJRPA news: News about philosophy
departments and faculty in N.J. colleges and universities new hires and other
personnel changes, visiting professors, honors received, publications and other
activities, etc.
4. Events: Upcoming lectures, colloquia,
conferences and other events sponsored by philosophy departments in N.J. and by the NJRPA.
5. Knowledge base: Information about philosophy programs in N.J.,
enrollment patterns, numbers of majors, etc.
6. Resources for teaching philosophy: Information
about the use of information technology in the teaching of philosophy.
7. Preprints: Papers (either preprints or work-in-progress) by N.J.
philosophers who would like to have some feedback on their work.
8. Opportunities: Announcements of new full-time and part-time
philosophy positions available in N.J. colleges and universities; resumes and profiles of
