Program Overview
The Montclair State University School Psychology
Certification Program, housed in the Department of Psychology, College of
Humanities and Social Sciences, is a three year, sixty semester hour program
leading to an institutional recommendation for certification as a School
Psychologist in the state of New Jersey.
In the program, students are prepared for
the ethical provision of professional psychological services to children
and families in school settings and are exposed to a variety of
psychological perspectives and frameworks, including cognitive,
behavioral and psychodynamic.
The specific knowledge base imparted in the program
