While at the Annual TESOL '99 Convention in NYC, I attended a seminar on using the web in the classroom. The major theme was the value of on-line discussion forums like the one Dr. Sotillo has set-up for us. The speakers reported outstanding results across the board. Naturally, I could back their findings as I find this to be a valuable tool. I may not always feel like posting, but I always look forward to reading what others have written. It's a great tool for encouraging student-student interaction. Anyhoo, that's all. Hope everyone is enjoying the break.
