Your insights will be most helpful to all of us. Thank you for stressing the importance of finding out what students' interests are before "forcing" anyone to work collaboratively. I don't blame you for not wanting to work in a group situation after what happened in your Ed Psych seminar. We also have to keep in mind that, for decades, American schooling has emphasized individualistic work and ferocious competition. I think what you have written is extremely valuable. We really need to think about the issues you raise. Have a wonderful summer and don't forget that I'll be learning how to use TACT correctly this summer. Eileen is also working with TACT.
