There are a few reasons why I decided to take Women's Worlds. It is listed as a psychology course and I thought that it would maybe be helpful to my major. It would be great if I knew more about the many problems that women are experiencing in the United States and abroad. I have also taken Sexism in American Education and I loved the class. I am now aware of the many problems that young women and girls face in the classroom. It was one of my favorite classes taken at MSU. My expectations are already being met. There are some issues that we have discussed that I had no idea about. I think that I am very unaware of many hurtful things that are happening around the world. As far as research goes, I am completely unlimited. I am interested in the young girls in foreign countries. I want to know how they are brought up and how they are treated. Are they as disrespected as women are now? Are they unaware of the problems due to conditioning? Children need to be taught that it is not okay for adults to treat women in a violent and disrespecting manner.
