In a word, unfortunate.

Well, I don't agree with strict measures against abortion when it directly interferes with a doctor's ability to safely treat a patient. But, I agree with enforcing moderate measures to prevent abortion abuse. In which, girls/women use it as a form of birth control.

In large part, I don't think we are an uneducated society. Also, I think patient's should be given the option to differentiate if/when it is appropriate for them to have an abortion. Especially in the treatment of rape victims and problem pregnancies. Wherein the benefits or consequences of an abortion should be rooted in our own choice to decide for or against it. However, say in the case of a girl/women who has had two or more abortions for no other reason than to prevent an unwanted pregancy, I am strict in my thinking that there must be another way.
