My reaction to the article is one of disbelief. The situation imposed on women by Catholic hospitals creates a great amount of emotional distress. The restrictions put on necessary procedures might also complicate bodily conditions. There has to be a compromise established between advocates of the Catholic faith and those professionals in the medical field to ensure that women obtain the attention they so deserve.
