I am a sophomore psychology major at MSU. I plan to complete my Ph.D. or at least my masters in psychology after I receive my bachelor's degree. I'm not sure which area I would like to pursue but I had originally been interested in clinical psychology. I took this course because it was a psychology course and I wanted to learn more about women's issues in differnt parts of the world, especially since I'm a woman myself. I didn't want to be ignorant of what women experience in differnt areas and situations. I'm not sure what I want to do my research project on yet but I know I want to study some differnce between men and women such as how they cope with emotionall loss differntly. I also want to use surveys, questionaires, or observation techniques in my research. I hope to learn a lot in this course. Allyson
