This article was upsetting to me because it invaded women's rights. I understand that Catholics are against abortion but when there is no way the baby would live with or without one and the mother will die without one, there should be an emergency procedure done to remove the fetus. If I was in an area where the only local hospital had these policies I would consider moving. However, I do agree that a Catholic hospital should not perform voluntary abortions. But when there is a life or death situation then an abortion must be performed. These policies make it seem like the catholic religion only values babies lives and not female adults lives
