"Are Catholic Hospitals Playing God with women's lives"? This is a quote from the article that we were assigned to read in Women's Worlds. Women all over the country are being denied legal healthcare due to hospital policy. But, why would a hospital think that it is okay for it to decide what is best for their patient? This kind of policy denies the patient any kind of say over what will happen to her body. If they can control whether or not a woman can have an abortion, who is to say what will come next? The point is, women should be able to choose what will become of their bodies. Sure, many people may have opposing views on what is right and what is wrong but if a woman wants to have an abortion to save her own life, it is legal and it is her choice. I personally am pro-life for myself, but I truely believe that it is a woman's choice what is best for her.
