I found this to be appauling. Shouldn't we be past all this concidering the day and age we are in. Regardless of the religion doesn't are constitution give us the right to freedom of religon, and seperation of church and state. If this is the only facility around they should act on the individuals wishes, rather then what the hospital or church sees fit. Don't they also realize that if this is what the individuals decide to do, they are going to get it taken care of elsewhere, so they should just take care of it. Also I do not belive thatreligion plays as big of a part in peoples lives today as it has in the past. If they will omit such practices as emergency abortions, risking the women 's welfare, they should not recieve public funding.
