Susana- I was reading over the posted articles and I came across your question about "racial slurs". Well, I really don't know why people continue to discriminate, despite our so called "awareness". Maybe we aren't as educated as we think we are?? If you think about it, Whites and Blacks have only been integrated since the 1960s. That wasn't so long ago. Maybe "deep wounds" take longer to heal than most of us would expect? I don't know. Still, I try to treat others as I want to be treated. Hopefully we will all be able to live together someday, peacefully! Maureen Pierson
