Your observations are right on target. We do need to be sensitive to other people's cultural values and belief systems. We all have our strong likes and dislikes. That is not going to change; however, we need to get rid of ethnic and racial stereotypes. That we can only do by reading, exploring, and talking to individuals from different races and cultures. Yes, the goal is to live peacefully in a multi-ethnic, multiracial society.
