MINOR PROGRAM IN ITALIAN

The Italian minor consists of 18 semester hours in specific areas: 6 credits in Grammar and Composition, 6 credits in History of Italian Literature, 3 in Italian Cultural History and three credits in an elective course selected by the student with the approval of the departmental advisor. The Minor sequence of courses is designed to provide students with a thorough knowledge of Italian classical and modern culture, and to impart to them a reading, speaking and writing knowledge of the Italian language.
