MINOR IN SPANISH

The Spanish minor consists of 18 semester hours in specific areas. Courses selected by the students range from Fundamentals of Spanish Grammar, and Spanish and Latin American Cultural Histories, to an elective course in literature. This selection of courses is intended to provide the students not only with language skills and a knowledge of culture, but also with an awareness of literary trends and theories.

SPAN 241 Fundamentals of Spanish Grammar  (3 s.h.)
SPAN 242 Spanish Composition and Stylistics  (3 s.h.)
SPAN 361 Voices of the Past and Present: Spain  (3 s.h.)
SPAN 363 Voices of the Past and Present: Latin America  (3 s.h.)


Electives:
Select 6 semester hours from among current listings in language, literature and culture.
